Tews Engineering Case Study

Tews Engineering Case Study

Established in Petersfield, Hampshire in 1910, Tews Engineering Limited is a sub contract, precision engineering company that offer a wide range of subcontract engineering skills to a variety of blue chip customers.

Tews Engineering Limited has recently completed an LED Lighting Upgrade in June/July 2014, consisting of both luminaire and retro fit upgrades throughout their Maztech Workshop in Petersfield.

Tews was seeking a new innovative lighting solution to replace their current fluorescent & low bay lighting throughout their premises. They were concerned about their impact on the environment as well as the financial implications of rising electricity prices.

Malcolm Hankin, Managing Director sought to tackle the future energy cost issue by looking into new energy efficient lighting technologies. In addition to the standard requirements there was also a need for Passive Infra Red sensors in the toilets and Smart Microwave Bulkheads in corridors to maximise the energy savings.

“Kyman provided us with a prompt service with great attention to detail and after sales care.

They have been able to establish our specific client requirements and meet them with the minimum disruption to our daily activities.”

Zina Willett, Financial Controller
